Saturday 21st August 2010

The National Badminton Museum are arranging a visit to Badminton House, the venue from which the game takes its name.

On show will be Lady Henrietta's battledore recording 2117 hits with her friend Beth Mitchell. The visit also includes other parts of the House, Church and gardens.

The cost covering the afternoon visit, which will conclude with tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes will be £12 per person for Friends of the National Badminton Museum - for those who are not Friends the cost will be £17 which will include a year's membership of Friends of the National Badminton Museum.

Numbers are limited.
