The Mental Aspect of the Game of Badminton The Position of No Error Those who triumph because they are skilled in competition are not honoured for cleverness or credited for heroism. They triumph during competition because they have made no errors. Those who have made no errors have arranged for certain triumph: a triumph over those who are already defeated. Therefore, those who are skilled in competition establish a situation that cannot be defeated, and miss no opportunity to defeat their opponent. It might surprise you to learn that these words were written between 480 and 221 B.C. in China by Sun Tzu. They hold as true today as they did 24 centuries ago and can be applied to badminton, football, business or war! |
