 A broken string need not be a disaster! Whenever you break a string it can be a real hassle finding a place to restring your badminton racket. You may not want to resort to replacing an expensive racket, but neither do you want to be without it for more than a few days. You may also want to repeat the same qualities that you have become accustomed to. Some of the worst places can be the shops that send their rackets away. They aren't usually able to offer any advice, just a price-list (if you are lucky) and you may not see your racket for weeks. If you don't know a stringer, then hopefully this list will give you some names to contact. These people all specialise in badminton rackets and are within or in easy reach of the county of Gloucestershire. There's more to restringing a racket than you might think! It is important that you get the string and tensions which best suits you; different stringers will produce different results, even on the same type of machine, so there may a certain amount of experimentation before you find what you like.
